We are pleased to announce the release of version 2 of our tasks feature. This update introduces several enhancements, including:
- The ability to add custom task titles for quick and efficient reuse.
- The option to set three levels of priority, complete with customizable labels and colors.
- Messaging System: Task participants can communicate with each other to facilitate task resolution. Please note that there is a 10-minute cooldown period between email exchanges.
- Email notifications for other users when a task is added or completed.
- Task reminder emails to encourage users to complete their assignments.
- The flexibility to specify the hours before a reminder email is dispatched.
- The capability to create personalized email templates for reminder notifications, utilizing a variety of shortcodes to tailor the information shared.
- A green-orange-red light system to indicate the status of outstanding tasks.
- The addition of a Sales Manager note upon the creation of client requests/tasks, accompanied by a template that incorporates shortcodes.
Many of these features can be accessed through the tasks settings page at: COMMUNICATION > TASKS from the main menu, followed by SETTINGS in the sub-menu bar.
Please ensure you enable the desired features and click SUBMIT to save your settings. If you do not save your preferences, tasks will continue to function as they have historically.
