ON-DEMAND REQUEST PAGE: SUBJECT-BASED EVENT LIMITATIONS
Please ensure that subjects are assigned to your instructors. The on-demand event list now implements a filtering mechanism for client requests based on these assignments. Consequently, if an instructor is not assigned to a particular subject, the corresponding request will not be displayed on their screen. This ensures that client requests are only accepted by instructors possessing the necessary skills.
To restrict the instructors who can review and accept on-demand requests from clients, we recommend creating subject-specific categories. If an instructor is not assigned to the relevant subjects, they will not see the corresponding requests. This allows you to exercise control over the on-demand requests page visible to your instructors.
NEW REQUEST CHIME OPT-IN
The on-demand request page, where instructors monitor incoming requests, now features an optional chime button. By default, the chime is disabled and must be manually activated by clicking the button. This is necessary to comply with browser standards set by companies such as Google.
Instructors no longer need to continuously monitor the screen. When a new request that they are qualified for arrives, the chime will ring, grabbing their attention. Rest assured that the chime will automatically turn off once a request is accepted, allowing instructors and students to have a peaceful session. After completing the end-of-session report, instructors can reactivate the chime. Repeat this process as needed.
