We are excited to announce several updates aimed at enhancing your experience:
Stripe Fees Passed to Customers
We have added the ability to pass the Stripe fees to the customer.
To enable this feature, proceed to: SETTINGS from the main menu > Select SETTINGS > ONLINE PAYMENTS from the sub-menu bar > Click the STRIPE tab > Scroll down to the bottom of the page where you see a label entitled, "Enable a convenience fee."
Make sure you set the percentage fee and the lump-sum fee for your geographic region. For U.S. accounts, the default of 2.9% and $0.30 is defined by default.
Click on the purple information icon for more information on how the convenience fee is calculated. The calculation builds in the "fee on the fee."
How to enable the convenience fee:

New look of the payment receipt when there is a convenience fee present:

Customers are presented with a convenience fee notification:

Email Attachments for Paid Invoices
When a paid invoice email is sent, it will now include both the paid invoice PDF and the payment receipt PDF as attachments.
Detailed Payment Receipt PDFs
If you are charging customers a convenience fee for credit card payments through Stripe, the payment receipt PDFs will now break down the original amount, the fee amount, and the grand total for your convenience.
Temporary Sessions Management
You now have the capability to delete temporary sessions once their mother session has been deleted, streamlining session management.
Export Tool Enhancements
We've fixed the export tool to ensure that when downloading sessions or payments with no record types selected, all records will be downloaded as intended.
Payment Amount Formatting Issue Resolved
We addressed a condition where an incorrectly formatted payment amount was preventing Stripe from charging a customer. This fix ensures that when batching customer invoices, any failures will now be properly communicated, reducing confusion.
Sincerely,
The Bizstim Team
